The IPA has made several attempts to distance itself from the running, management and involvement of any pool events other than the IPA pool tour. Our position is and has always been that we will not restrict our players from playing in any other events, including all three of the proposed
World  Championships in 2012.

Although we have tried to clarify this position before we appreciate there has been reason for confusion and speculation and we are trying to ensure this will not occur again.

The IPA has no position or connection at present with anyother body or organisation and our players can play in any events they choose to.
