The IPA has now announced the players list for the 2012 IPA Tour.

We are overwhelmed at the number and quality of the players who have put their faith in the new Chairman and Committee, be them World Champions or completely new to the IPA, and we thank them all individually for supporting us.

The current established stars such as the 3 time World Champion and Tour Number one Gareth Potts, the current World Champion Adam Davis and twice World Champion Mick Hill, are all set to battle it out with the many other established IPA stars, plus the new crop of youngsters such as Frank Costello and Phil Parkin, to name but a few. In fact, there is such a strong breed of talent within the IPA Tour, and all are hungry to relieve Gareth of his Number one position. 2012 promises to be the most exciting year in the history of the IPA.

In addition and as part of our ongoing development programme, I am pleased to announce that the IPA has joined forces with the University of Bradford’s Media Academy, which will provide the IPA with access to creative new talent, new technologies and opportunities in broadcast television and interactive media.  Simon Couth, Director of the Working Academy said “we have some of the best new media talent at the University and are very excited at putting our students and resources to work on building the profile, reputation and audience of the IPA and it’s players”.

This partnership has truly unlimited potential, and work is due to commence in January on the first of several exciting new projects.
